The obelisk tower shape has been used in ancient Egypt as a monument and connection to the gods. This form dates back to their creation during the period of c. 3150-c. 2613 BCE. Egyptians called this tower tekhenu, meaning to pierce the sky.

It is fitting that Howlite, a guardian stone, is often created in this form.

Howlite can be used when you need a moment to breathe and slow down. Beloved for its ability to calm the nerves and slow the mind, this stone has a very grounded presence. Energetically it absorbs more energy into itself than it releases. 

Physically, it has been used for centuries to strengthen bones and reduce inflammation.
