The Bluest Light

Palo Santo

Palo Santo (Bursera Graveolens)

Palo Santo (Bursera Graveolens), commonly known as "holy wood", is a sacred tool used to purify, encourage positive energy flow, and connect to spiritual realms during your ritual practices.

How to use:

Light the Palo Santo stick at a downward angle using matches or a candle, letting the wood sit in the fire for at 10-15 seconds before gently blowing out the flame. Use the billowing smoke to cleanse your aura, clear out the energy of your space, to begin your ritual, and welcome in positive energy. Open any windows or doors to allow the smoke to move through the area. When your ceremony + cleansing is complete, place it in a fireproof bowl.

Each Palo Santo stick can used multiple times for your cleansing and ritual practice.  Exercise caution as you would with any lit item during this sacred ritual.

Includes 4-5 wood sticks, size and dimension will vary based on the organic nature and size of the wood.

  • Do not leave Palo Santo unattended while burning.
  • Always avoid using on or near flammable materials.
  • Be mindful of burning herbs and wood around people with health conditions.
  • Always handle with care when burning items.
