Light the Palo Santo stick at a downward angle using matches or a candle, letting the wood sit in the fire for at 10-15 seconds before gently blowing out the flame. Use the billowing smoke to cleanse your aura, clear out the energy of your space, to begin your ritual, and welcome in positive energy. Open any windows or doors to allow the smoke to move through the area. When your ceremony + cleansing is complete, place it in a fireproof bowl.
Each Palo Santo stick can used multiple times for your cleansing and ritual practice. Exercise caution as you would with any lit item during this sacred ritual.
